Now that Tony Stewart is leaving JGR, he is losing his big sponsors, Home Depot and Old Spice. Once a driver loses or switches sponsors, the driver find out the true fan base. Who’s coming with me man!
At the start of this season, Dale Jr. started with his new sponsor Amp, and the transition has been going very well. It’s different not seeing him with Budweiser and Wrangler, and personally I don’t think they are marketing Jr. to his fullest potential. When Dale Jr. announced his change to move to Hendrix, no. 8 merchandise flew off the shelves. It’s now a collectors items.
